If all but one member of the firing squad shoot blanks, and given that blanks have much less recoil, wouldn't the one with the live bullet know he killed the prisoner? -
Is this true? One member of a firing squad has issued a blank round so someone can have a peace of mind that they weren't the one who fired the fatal shot.
